Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Solution Engineer working within Redwood Platform Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for providing pre-sales support to the Redwood Platform Services team.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Developing transportation management system solutions and organizing, planning, creating & delivering compelling software demonstrations
  • Support Sales resources on Discovery calls as needed to elicit and capture details regarding client requirements to be used for demonstration planning and to support pricing.
  • Reviewing solutions stated in a client’s Statement of Work document to ensure they align with client requirements as captured during discovery process
  • Assisting with the completion of RFI/RFP processes
  • Working closely with Sales team to ensure successful closure of the sales process
  • Work with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure successful handoff from sales to implementation
  • Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements
  • Work closely with commercialization team to provide feedback about product requirements to assist with pricing decisions
  • Keeping abreast and documenting market trends including partner product & competitor landscapes

You’ve Got This?

  • Minimum of 1-2 years with Transportation Management System (TMS) and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions configuration experience
  • Previous experience in presales processes
  • Solution engineering experience strongly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience and knowledge of Transportation (TMS) and/or Warehouse (WMS) solutions
  • Trade compliance experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
