Key Account Manager

Key Account Manager - Mexico
Reports To: Director of Operations, Mexico
Location: Monterrey
Environment: Hybrid (about 3 days onsite; 2 remote)

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with an hour break, but flexibility based on coverage. There are some after-hour and weekend expectations – the typical work week is about 48 hours.

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, retaining, and growing Mexico top customers and Managed Services accounts, while providing visibility of KPIs and supporting operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage top accounts performance and engage other peers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify potential opportunities, both as performance improvement and new business
  • Assist in customer solutions, rate proposals, and negotiations in order to present to clients
  • Support implementation of new accounts from an operational and performance stand point (incl. Managed Services)
  • Oversee Afterhours support for Mexico Operations
  • Keep informed on industry trends, services, and competitor activities
  • Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly performance goals that will be transparently discussed and laid out for you from the start
  • Maintain daily client relationships to assigned accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Pro-active problem solver and listener; ability to multi-task
  • Minimum 5 years of business experience in the logistics industry within client facing roles
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills
  • Ability to drive results within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Embrace team atmosphere and be willing to offer help wherever needed

  • You will be provided a Cell Phone Allowance of $800 pesos per month minus applicable taxes
  • Eligible for bonus after 3 months, payable on a monthly basis. Amount is discretional and directly related to our NR contribution as a team. Company reserves the right to adjust commission or bonus incentive programs at any time with written notice.
