Purpose of Your Work:

As Supply Chain Analyst (LTL) working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for sourcing LTL Carriers for client specific pricing programs. You will serve as the primary face of the organization with designated LTL Carriers, charged with ensuring Redwood is viewed as a 3PL of choice. You will possess an understanding of the LTL industry that will allow you to engage with LTL Carrier Stakeholders as a pricing expert. Key internal stakeholders will rely on your expertise to both strategize solutions and overcome challenges related to LTL pricing.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned LTL carriers
  • Designing pricing programs to maximize client savings
  • Managing RFPs via Redwood’s proprietary bid site
  • Negotiating pricing for new and existing clients
  • Adhering to strict timelines for RFP and pricing renewal implementation
  • Accurately entering client specific pricing programs into Redwood’s proprietary technology
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to LTL rates
  • Proactively suggesting continuous improvement opportunities for processes and technology

You’ve Got This?

  • Core understanding of LTL industry and experience interacting with LTL carriers
  • 3-5 years experience working with LTL pricing at a carrier or 3PL
  • Proven ability to consume & leverage data to drive positive change and solve problems
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems and understanding of systems integrations facilitating financial transactions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers and external stakeholders
  • Presentation skills to senior leaders internally and externally
  • Growth mindset and positive “can do” attitude
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • This position requires occasional travel to carriers customers
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Compensation Range:

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $70,000

This position is eligible to earn quarterly incentives based on individual and company performance.

The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
